The 108 beads of his handcrafted mala are made from knotted Rudraksha seeds. In ancient Hindu tradition, the word Rudraksha means “The Eyes of Shiva.” Legend says that while the Hindu god Shiva meditated on the state of mankind, his crystallized tears fell to earth and created the Rudraksha trees.
